In the heart of Ramona, there’s a garage that still puts customers first. I had a transmission pressure switch fail on my Honda CV-R and attempted to repair it myself, but could not get the new … More switch to thread into the transmission. Being new to Ramona I dreaded having to find an honest, competent repair shop, and had been putting that task off. Dave’s Garage was only two blocks from home, and I managed to get the Honda over to it, leaking trans fluid all the way over. Dave introduced himself, listened to my story and said, “Let’s take a look at it.” Half an hour later, Max, one of the mechanics, made sure the switch was in, the proper Honda trans fluid was topped off, and I was on my way at a very reasonable cost. I now know an honest, competent shop that will take the time to help without making me feel I had imposed on them (which a lot of shops will do even if they will help without an appointment , which many won’t). I’ll be bringing all three of our vehicles to Dave’s Garage, with full confidence that they and I will be taken care of by good old fashioned folks, who care about customers.
